We generally work in a 50 mile radius covering Wiltshire, Berkshire, Avon and Oxfordshire, though often further afield.

We specialise in decorative restoration to period and heritage buildings where due care is required.

Wall coverings and broken colour work are of particular interest.

Heritage & Period Work

Over the years we have built a true sympathetic understanding of period and historic buildings and recognise that they require a bit more care and patiencs. Where possible using traditional clay based paints.

We have been honoured to provide services on a number of listed and historic buildings in and around the south west of England including working for The Land-mark Trust.

Wallpapering

Wallpaper hanging is one of the areas of expertise of Steven Wood Decorators.

We pay careful attention to preparing the wall surface and take pride in the final applying of the wall covering itself. From hand painted to hard wearing wide Muraspec wall coverings, we pride ourselves on our knowledge and experience for getting the job right.

We can also advise you on specialist wallpaper materials, designs and finishes, contemporary and period.

Painted Kitchens & Special Effects

Many customers are now looking to up-grade their kitchens simply by having units repainted and new tiling, all of which we undertake. Then possibly changing the work tops, which we can also arrange. All paints are of a high quality and specially formulated for kitchen usage, with a proven degree of durability.
